The name Aladino comes from a historic movie theater in Danlí, Honduras known as El Cine Aladino, which was operated by Christian and Justo Eiroa’s grandfather. Today the former theatre is home to Christian's factory but the name legacy is carried on in the brand created by Julio and Justo Eiroa as a way to recognize the "golden era" of tobacco from 1947-1961.
